About this product
Blazy Susan's Purple Blazy Filter Tips deliver 50 pre-cut, unbleached cotton-cellulose tips in the brand's signature lavender hue. Designed to improve airflow and reduce draw resistance, they slot naturally into hand-rolled sessions and sit available at ZenZest's Queens-Long Island and Staten Island locations or via same-day delivery across 80-plus New York ZIP codes.
What it is
Filter tips, sometimes called crutches or roach tips, serve as a structured mouthpiece at the mouth end of a hand-rolled cone or joint. Blazy Susan's tips are crafted from a cotton-cellulose blend that holds its shape under moisture, preventing the collapsed-tip frustration common with thin cardboard alternatives. The pre-cut format means each tip measures consistently so rolls stay cylindrical and burns remain even from the first draw to the last. Because no tobacco or cannabis is present in the tip itself, the accessory falls outside OCM potency regulations — it is simply a rolling aid. The purple colorway is Blazy Susan's aesthetic signature and has no effect on flavor or function.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing accessories from a New York OCM-licensed adult-use retailer like ZenZest means every product on the shelf has passed the dispensary's vendor vetting process. While filter tips are not cannabis, buying them alongside your flower, pre-rolls, or other products in a single transaction keeps your session supplies consolidated and legally sourced. ZenZest's staff can advise on compatible Blazy Susan rolling papers also carried in-store, ensuring your full kit is cohesive. Same-day delivery to more than 80 NY ZIP codes means you can restock before a session without a trip across the borough.
Pairings
Purple Blazy Filter Tips are a natural companion to Blazy Susan's own pink or purple unbleached rolling papers, creating a visually unified, chemical-dye-minimal roll. On the sensory side, pair a finished joint with a pour of sparkling water or a light herbal tea to keep the palate clear. The format suits unhurried, conversational occasions — a rooftop gathering, a vinyl listening session with something slow and textured on the turntable, or a quiet evening walk through a neighborhood park where adult-use consumption is permitted under New York law.
If it's your first time
If you are new to hand-rolling, filter tips are an excellent starting point before attempting a full cone build. Fold the tip in a small accordion pleat at one end, then roll the remaining length into a cylinder — this creates the internal channel that keeps airflow open. Practice a few dry runs before adding cannabis. Tips reduce the chance of drawing loose material and give you something firm to hold, making the overall experience more controlled and comfortable.
Frequently asked
Are Blazy Susan Purple Filter Tips made from bleached paper?+
Blazy Susan formulates its tips from an unbleached cotton-cellulose blend, which is the same philosophy the brand applies across its rolling paper line. The purple color comes from the brand's visual identity rather than chlorine-based bleaching agents, keeping the material profile cleaner than conventional white-paper alternatives.
How many tips come in one pack?+
Each pack contains 50 pre-cut filter tips. The count is sufficient for a meaningful number of individual rolls, making it a practical buy whether you roll occasionally or maintain a more regular hand-rolling habit. At ZenZest you can purchase single packs or ask staff about multi-pack availability.
Can I use these tips with any rolling papers, or only Blazy Susan papers?+
The tips are sized to work with standard 1¼ and king-size rolling papers from any brand. They are not proprietary to Blazy Susan's own papers, though the brand's papers and tips are designed with complementary dimensions in mind. If you are unsure of compatibility, ZenZest staff can walk you through options available in-store.
Does ZenZest deliver accessories like filter tips the same day?+
Yes. ZenZest's same-day delivery service covers accessories alongside cannabis products for orders placed to eligible ZIP codes across Queens, Long Island, Staten Island, and more than 80 total New York ZIP codes. Check the ZenZest website or contact the store directly to confirm your specific address qualifies before placing an order.
Do filter tips affect the taste or potency of what I am smoking?+
A properly constructed filter tip creates a small air gap and physical barrier rather than a carbon or active-filtration medium, so it does not meaningfully alter cannabinoid delivery the way some specialty filters claim to. It primarily improves structural integrity and reduces draw resistance, keeping the flavor profile of your chosen flower as the dominant sensory experience.
