About this product
Preferred Gardens Dueces is a curated flower offering from a craft-focused brand available at ZenZest's Queens-Long Island and Staten Island locations, as well as through same-day delivery across 80-plus New York ZIP codes. Grown for discerning adult-use consumers, Dueces represents the kind of thoughtfully cultivated, OCM-compliant cannabis that defines the licensed New York market.
What it is
Cannabis flower is the dried and cured bud of the cannabis plant — the most traditional and widely recognized consumption format. It is typically ground and smoked in a pipe, bong, or rolling paper, though it can also be used with a dry-herb vaporizer for a smoke-free experience. The effects of flower are generally felt within minutes of inhalation, making it easier for consumers to gauge their experience in real time. Flower retains the plant's full spectrum of cannabinoids and terpenes in their most natural state, which many enthusiasts consider the most expressive and authentic way to experience a cultivar.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing flower from ZenZest means buying from a New York OCM-licensed adult-use retailer where every product has cleared the state's regulatory framework, including mandatory third-party lab testing for potency and safety. Preferred Gardens flower arrives with full chain-of-custody documentation, so you know exactly what you are bringing home. Shopping at a licensed dispensary protects consumers from unregulated gray-market products that may contain pesticides, heavy metals, or inaccurate labeling. ZenZest's Queens-Long Island and Staten Island stores, along with same-day delivery, make accessing verified, legal cannabis straightforward and convenient.
Pairings
Flower is a naturally social and sensory format that pairs well with considered environments. For Dueces, consider a mellow evening playlist — jazz, lo-fi, or acoustic soul — alongside a charcuterie spread or earthy cuisine like roasted vegetables and aged cheese. It suits a relaxed gathering, a solo creative session, or a slow Sunday wind-down. If you enjoy layering experiences, a quality glass pipe or a well-rolled joint can complement the ritual, while a clean dry-herb vaporizer offers a smoother, more flavor-forward alternative.
If it's your first time
If this is your first time smoking or vaporizing cannabis flower, start with a single, small inhalation and wait at least fifteen minutes before consuming more. Flower acts quickly, but individual responses vary widely based on tolerance, body chemistry, and consumption method. Choose a comfortable, familiar setting and consider having water and a light snack nearby. New York state law permits adult-use cannabis for those 21 and older only.
Frequently asked
What is Preferred Gardens Dueces flower?+
Preferred Gardens Dueces is a cannabis flower product from Preferred Gardens, a craft brand available through ZenZest's licensed New York dispensary locations. It is sold as dried, cured bud ready to be ground and smoked or vaporized. All products at ZenZest are OCM-compliant and third-party lab tested.
How do I consume cannabis flower?+
Cannabis flower is most commonly ground using a hand grinder and then smoked in a pipe, water pipe, or rolling paper. It can also be used in a dry-herb vaporizer, which heats the material without combustion. Each method delivers a slightly different experience in terms of flavor and intensity, so choosing the right format is a matter of personal preference.
Is Preferred Gardens Dueces available for delivery in New York?+
Yes. ZenZest offers same-day delivery to more than 80 New York ZIP codes, including areas served by our Queens-Long Island and Staten Island flagship stores. You can check delivery availability for your specific ZIP code directly on the ZenZest website. All deliveries are compliant with New York OCM adult-use regulations and require age verification upon receipt.
How should I store cannabis flower to keep it fresh?+
Store cannabis flower in an airtight container — ideally glass — in a cool, dark location away from direct sunlight and humidity fluctuations. Proper storage preserves the terpene profile and prevents the flower from drying out or becoming too moist. Avoid refrigerators, which can introduce condensation, and keep the container away from heat sources.
How is licensed dispensary flower different from unregulated cannabis?+
Flower purchased at a New York OCM-licensed dispensary like ZenZest has been tested by accredited third-party laboratories for cannabinoid potency, residual pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants. Unregulated products carry no such guarantees. Licensed retailers also operate under strict packaging and labeling requirements, giving consumers clear, truthful information before every purchase.
