About this product
Rolling Green's Permanent Marker is an indica-dominant hybrid flower known for its pungent, fuel-forward aroma and deeply relaxing character. Cultivated for New York's adult-use market and available at ZenZest's Queens-Long Island and Staten Island locations, this strain suits evening wind-down sessions and discerning consumers who appreciate bold, expressive cannabis genetics.
What it is
Permanent Marker is an indica-dominant hybrid flower, a format that remains the most direct and traditional way to experience cannabis. Loose flower is typically ground and rolled into a joint, packed into a pipe, or loaded into a dry-herb vaporizer. The indica-hybrid classification signals a profile that leans toward physical ease and mental deceleration without fully surrendering clarity — a balance that makes it versatile across low-key social settings and solitary evenings alike. Flower preserves the full spectrum of the plant's cannabinoids and terpenes in their most intact form, which many experienced consumers prefer for its nuanced, layered effect compared to processed formats.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing Permanent Marker through ZenZest means every jar has passed New York State OCM-mandated third-party laboratory testing for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, and microbials before it reaches the shelf. Rolling Green Cannabis operates within the licensed New York adult-use supply chain, so provenance is documented from cultivation through point of sale. Shopping at a licensed retailer protects consumers from the inconsistent and untested products still circulating in the unregulated market — a meaningful distinction when quality and safety are the priority.
Pairings
Permanent Marker's fuel-and-floral terpene profile pairs naturally with low-tempo listening — think late-night jazz, ambient electronics, or soul records played at a considered volume. On the culinary side, its boldness holds up against umami-rich foods: aged cheese boards, miso-glazed proteins, or a slow-cooked weekend meal. It suits the transition hour between dusk and deep evening, and complements a hash rosin cartridge if consumers wish to layer formats for a more pronounced experience.
If it's your first time
If this is your first time with flower or with indica-dominant hybrids, start low and go slow. Take one or two draws, then allow fifteen to twenty minutes before reassessing how you feel. The effects of smoked or vaporized flower arrive quickly but can deepen over that window. Keep water nearby, choose a comfortable and familiar environment, and avoid mixing with alcohol until you understand how this format affects you personally.
Frequently asked
What makes Permanent Marker an indica-dominant hybrid rather than a pure indica?+
Indica-dominant hybrids carry genetic lineage from both indica and sativa cannabis varieties, with the indica characteristics more pronounced. In practice, this means consumers often experience the body-relaxing qualities associated with indicas alongside a degree of mental engagement that pure indicas may not offer. It is a middle-ground profile that suits a wide range of consumers and occasions.
Is Rolling Green Permanent Marker flower available for same-day delivery in New York?+
ZenZest offers same-day delivery to more than 80 New York ZIP codes across Queens, Long Island, Staten Island, and surrounding areas. Product availability can shift based on inventory, so checking the live menu before placing an order is the most reliable way to confirm same-day fulfillment for this specific SKU.
How should I store Permanent Marker flower to preserve its quality?+
Store cannabis flower in an airtight glass jar away from direct light, heat, and humidity. A consistent environment between 55 and 65 percent relative humidity helps maintain terpene integrity and prevents the flower from drying out or developing mold. Avoid plastic bags for long-term storage, as they can create static that degrades trichomes and contribute to an off-taste.
What consumption method is best suited for Permanent Marker flower?+
Flower is versatile. Rolling it into a joint is the most traditional approach and preserves the full aromatic experience. A dry-herb vaporizer operates at lower temperatures and is favored by those who want to taste terpenes more distinctly while reducing combustion byproducts. A glass pipe offers convenience and directness. Each method produces a slightly different sensory experience from the same flower.
Is this product compliant with New York State cannabis regulations?+

Every product on the ZenZest menu has undergone mandatory state-required laboratory testing and has been sourced exclusively through the legal, regulated supply chain.
