The Maxlight Big Torch Lighter is a heavy-duty, wind-resistant torch designed for reliable ignition of cigars, hemp wraps, and cannabis flower. Built for consistent performance, it delivers a focused, adjustable flame that makes lighting bowls, blunts, and joints straightforward — indoors or out. A practical, durable addition to any well-stocked smoke kit.
What it is
A torch lighter differs from a standard disposable in one meaningful way: it produces a pressurized, directional flame that resists wind and delivers heat precisely where you need it. The Maxlight Big Torch Lighter is designed for adult consumers who want dependable ignition session after session. Whether you are charring the edge of a hemp wrap, cornering a bowl to preserve flavor, or lighting a thick blunt in an outdoor setting, a torch provides control that a soft-flame lighter simply cannot match. The adjustable flame output lets you dial in heat intensity, reducing the risk of over-torching delicate flower. Refillable with standard butane, it is built to last well beyond a single-use lighter.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing accessories through a New York OCM-licensed adult-use retailer like ZenZest means every product on the floor has cleared a vetted, compliant supply chain. While accessories are not subject to cannabis lab testing, buying from a licensed storefront protects consumers from gray-market goods of uncertain quality or safety. ZenZest's Queens–Long Island and Staten Island locations carry accessories alongside their curated flower and concentrate selections, so you can complete your entire session kit in one visit — or have it delivered same-day to one of more than 80 eligible New York ZIP codes.
Pairings
A torch lighter pairs naturally with products that reward precise ignition: thick hemp or tobacco-free wraps, full-sized cigar-style blunts, and deep-bowled pipes or bongs where a directional flame reaches where it needs to go. For an occasion, consider an evening on a rooftop or patio where wind would defeat a standard lighter. Complement the experience with a sativa-leaning flower for an alert, sociable session, or a jazz playlist and an indica-forward preroll for a more settled wind-down at home.
If it's your first time
If you have never used a torch lighter before, start with the flame adjuster set to its lowest position and work upward gradually — torch flames burn significantly hotter than a conventional lighter and can scorch flower quickly if held too close. Keep the nozzle pointed away from your face and any flammable materials when igniting. Refill with quality butane when pressure drops, and bleed residual gas before refilling to avoid sputtering.
Frequently asked
What is the Maxlight Big Torch Lighter used for?+
It is a refillable, adjustable-flame torch lighter intended for igniting cannabis flower, blunts, hemp wraps, and pipes. Its pressurized, wind-resistant flame makes it well-suited for both indoor sessions and outdoor use where a standard soft-flame lighter would struggle.
Is a torch lighter better than a regular lighter for smoking cannabis?+
For many consumers, yes. A torch delivers a focused, hotter flame that lights thick wraps and full bowls more evenly and quickly. However, because the flame burns hotter, technique matters — holding it too close to delicate flower can affect flavor. Cornering your bowl and using short bursts is a widely recommended approach.
What kind of butane does the Maxlight Big Torch use?+
Torch lighters of this style are generally compatible with standard refined butane fuel canisters, widely available at smoke shops and convenience stores. For best performance and to minimize clogging, higher-purity refined butane is preferable. Always bleed remaining gas from the tank before refilling.
Can I buy the Maxlight Big Torch Lighter with same-day delivery from ZenZest?+
ZenZest offers same-day delivery to more than 80 New York ZIP codes, covering much of the greater New York City area. Accessories are eligible alongside cannabis products. Check the ZenZest website or app to confirm delivery availability for your specific ZIP code before placing an order.
