About this product
The Puffco Proxy Bub in Onyx is a hand-blown glass water attachment designed exclusively for the Puffco Proxy vaporizer, adding filtered, smoother vapor delivery through a compact bubbler form. Its deep onyx colorway makes it as much a display piece as a functional accessory, available now at ZenZest's licensed New York locations and through same-day delivery.
What it is
The Puffco Proxy Bub is a purpose-built glass water pipe attachment engineered to pair with the modular Puffco Proxy concentrate vaporizer. Rather than drawing vapor directly through the device, users connect this bubbler to route each hit through a water chamber, which cools and lightly filters the vapor before inhalation. The result is a noticeably smoother, more comfortable draw compared to using the Proxy in its standard pipe configuration. The Onyx colorway features dark, richly toned borosilicate glass that gives the piece a refined, minimal aesthetic. Because the Proxy platform is modular by design, the Bub attachment connects and disconnects without tools, making it easy to switch between configurations depending on the setting or personal preference.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing accessories like the Puffco Proxy Bub through a New York OCM-licensed retailer such as ZenZest ensures the product is authentic, sourced through legitimate distribution channels, and backed by the brand's warranty terms. Gray-market glass and counterfeit Puffco accessories have circulated widely online, making provenance a genuine concern for buyers investing in premium hardware. ZenZest's Queens-Long Island and Staten Island locations carry verified inventory, and same-day delivery is available across more than 80 New York ZIP codes, so you receive the piece quickly without sacrificing authenticity.
Pairings
The Proxy Bub suits intentional, low-key sessions — pair it with a curated playlist of ambient or low-tempo electronic music that matches its understated onyx aesthetic. On the food side, a light charcuterie spread or single-origin dark chocolate complements the cleaner vapor profile the water attachment produces. For concentrate selection, consider a high-quality live rosin or cured resin sourced from ZenZest's concentrate case, formats that reward the smoother, fuller draws this bubbler is designed to deliver.
If it's your first time
If you are new to concentrate vaporizers or water attachments, fill the Bub's chamber with just enough water to reach the percolator without splashing back into the Proxy's heating chamber — overfilling is the most common beginner mistake. Start with a conservative heat setting on the Proxy itself and take slow, controlled draws. Concentrates are significantly more potent than flower by volume, so start low and go slow until you understand how each session affects you.
Frequently asked
Is the Puffco Proxy Bub compatible with all Proxy models?+
The Proxy Bub is designed specifically for the Puffco Proxy platform and connects via the device's standard modular joint. It is not compatible with other Puffco products such as the Peak or Peak Pro, nor is it a universal glass attachment. Confirm your Proxy model before purchasing, though all current Proxy units share the same modular connection standard.
What makes the Onyx colorway different from other Proxy Bub versions?+
The Onyx edition features a deep, dark-toned borosilicate glass finish that distinguishes it visually from clear or lighter colorway versions of the Bub. Functionally, all Proxy Bub attachments perform identically — the colorway is a purely aesthetic differentiation, appealing to buyers who prefer a darker, more understated visual profile for their setup.
Can I use the Proxy Bub with any concentrate I purchase at ZenZest?+
Yes. The Proxy Bub is a hardware attachment and works with any concentrate loaded into the Puffco Proxy's chamber — live rosin, live resin, cured resin, or other extract formats carried at ZenZest. The bubbler simply filters and cools the vapor; it does not alter compatibility with any particular concentrate type.
How do I clean the Proxy Bub?+
Empty the water after each session to prevent residue buildup. Periodically soak the glass in isopropyl alcohol — 90 percent concentration or higher is recommended — then rinse thoroughly with warm water and allow it to dry completely before reattaching. Avoid abrasive tools that could scratch or weaken the glass. Regular cleaning maintains vapor quality and extends the piece's lifespan.
Is same-day delivery available for the Puffco Proxy Bub through ZenZest?+
Yes. ZenZest offers same-day delivery to more than 80 New York ZIP codes, including areas across Queens, Long Island, and Staten Island. Accessories like the Proxy Bub are eligible alongside cannabis products. Check the ZenZest website or app to confirm your ZIP code is within the current delivery zone before placing your order.
