About this product
Kings & Queens Frosted Flakes Large Bud Flower is a premium whole-flower offering hand-selected for size, density, and trichome coverage. Available at ZenZest's Queens–Long Island and Staten Island locations, and via same-day delivery across 80-plus New York ZIP codes, this large-bud format is designed for the discerning adult-use consumer who prioritizes presentation and quality in every session.
What it is
Large bud flower represents the top tier of the cannabis harvest — whole, uncrushed buds that have been carefully trimmed and cured to preserve their structural integrity, aroma, and cannabinoid-rich trichome layer. The name 'Frosted Flakes' signals a visual characteristic: dense bud architecture coated in a heavy layer of crystalline trichomes that signal mature, well-cultivated cannabis. Flower is consumed most traditionally by grinding and smoking in a bowl, pipe, or rolled form, or by using a dry-herb vaporizer for a cleaner inhalation experience. Because the buds remain intact until you break them down yourself, the aromatic profile stays protected longer than pre-ground or milled alternatives — making the large-bud format the preferred choice for those who value freshness and ritual.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing flower from a New York OCM-licensed adult-use retailer like ZenZest means every unit on the shelf has passed state-mandated laboratory testing for potency, pesticides, heavy metals, and microbial contaminants before it ever reaches the sales floor. Kings & Queens operates within that same regulated supply chain, so the Frosted Flakes you receive has a documented chain of custody from licensed cultivator to licensed retailer. Shopping at ZenZest also means access to knowledgeable staff who can speak to batch characteristics and help you make an informed choice — a level of transparency that unlicensed sources simply cannot provide.
Pairings
Large bud flower rewards a slow, intentional session. Consider pairing it with a vinyl record or a long-form music playlist — genres with textural depth, such as jazz, soul, or ambient electronic, complement the sensory ritual of grinding and preparing whole flower. For food, roasted or umami-forward flavors tend to harmonize well with earthy cannabis aromas. The format also pairs naturally with a glass pipe or quality grinder as complementary accessories, and a dry-herb vaporizer for those who prefer a lower-temperature, more aromatic experience.
If it's your first time
If this is your first time purchasing flower, start with a very small amount and wait to fully assess how you feel before consuming more — this is especially important with large-bud, high-trichome products that may be more potent than visually similar options. A grinder will give you an even, consistent burn. Because this is an inhalation product, effects are typically felt within minutes, making it easier to pace yourself responsibly.
Frequently asked
What makes large bud flower different from small bud or shake?+
Large buds are the prime cuts of the cannabis plant — they tend to be denser, better trimmed, and richer in trichomes than smaller popcorn buds or shake. Because they haven't been broken down or sifted, the aromatic compounds and surface trichomes remain more intact, delivering a fresher, more expressive experience when you grind and consume them.
What does 'Frosted Flakes' mean as a product name?+
'Frosted Flakes' describes the visual and textural character of the buds — a dense coating of trichomes that gives the flower a frosted, crystalline appearance. This level of trichome coverage is generally associated with mature, thoughtfully cultivated cannabis and is a quality indicator many experienced consumers look for when selecting whole-flower products.
How should I store Kings & Queens Frosted Flakes to keep it fresh?+
Store your flower in an airtight container — glass jars with a tight seal are ideal — kept in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Proper storage slows terpene degradation and helps maintain the aroma and texture of the buds. Avoid refrigerators, which can introduce unwanted moisture, and keep flower away from heat sources.
Can I get this product delivered same-day in New York?+
Yes. ZenZest offers same-day delivery to more than 80 New York ZIP codes for adult-use customers 21 and older. Check the ZenZest website or contact the store directly to confirm your ZIP code is within the current delivery area. All deliveries are fulfilled through the licensed adult-use retail framework required by New York's Office of Cannabis Management.
Is this product lab tested and compliant with NY state regulations?+
Yes. All flower sold at ZenZest, including Kings & Queens Frosted Flakes, is sourced exclusively from OCM-licensed cultivators and has undergone state-required laboratory testing for cannabinoid potency, pesticide residue, heavy metals, and microbial safety. A certificate of analysis is tied to each licensed batch, providing a verifiable quality record that unlicensed cannabis cannot offer.
