About this product
Dank By Definition's Premium OG Kush is a sativa-leaning hybrid flower that honors one of cannabis culture's most iconic lineages. Cultivated for dense, resinous structure and a layered aromatic profile, this is a considered choice for adults who appreciate craft flower without compromise. Available now at ZenZest's Queens-Long Island and Staten Island locations, with same-day delivery across 80-plus New York ZIP codes.
What it is
Flower is the unprocessed, dried and cured bud of the cannabis plant — the format closest to the plant's natural state. Smoking or vaporizing flower delivers cannabinoids and terpenes together, allowing the full spectrum of the cultivar's character to express itself. OG Kush is one of the most studied and replicated strains in cannabis history, typically recognized for an earthy, pine-forward nose underscored by subtle citrus. As a sativa-leaning hybrid, it is often associated with a balanced effect profile: mentally engaged without the heaviness of a full indica. Dank By Definition positions this offering in their Premium tier, signaling tighter quality controls around cultivation, cure time, and trim.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing licensed flower in New York means every product on the shelf has passed New York State OCM mandatory testing for pesticides, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbial contaminants before it reaches you. Dank By Definition operates within that regulated supply chain, and ZenZest carries only OCM-compliant inventory across both flagship stores. Buying here protects you from the inconsistency and unverified sourcing of the legacy market. Our staff can pull up the certificate of analysis for any batch on request, so you know exactly what you are bringing home.
Pairings
OG Kush's earthy, piney character pairs naturally with low-fi hip-hop or West Coast rap — the strain has deep roots in that cultural moment. On the table, consider roasted nuts, aged cheeses, or a dark-roast pour-over coffee to complement its resinous, slightly bitter finish. This is a sessionable flower for a slow weekend afternoon, a creative work block, or a casual gathering that calls for good conversation. For those who enjoy variety, consider pairing a session with a terpene-forward vape cartridge to extend the experience across the evening.
If it's your first time
If you are new to flower or to hybrid strains, start with a single inhalation and allow ten to fifteen minutes before deciding whether to continue. Sativa-leaning hybrids can produce an uptick in mental activity that some new consumers find intense. Have water nearby, choose a comfortable setting, and avoid combining with alcohol until you understand your personal response. ZenZest budtenders at both store locations are available to walk you through consumption methods and format options at no pressure.
Frequently asked
What makes Dank By Definition's OG Kush a 'Premium' flower?+
The Premium designation within the Dank By Definition line typically refers to elevated cultivation standards — closer attention to canopy management, cure duration, and hand-trim quality. The result is a denser, more aromatic bud with better preservation of trichomes compared to value-tier offerings. You can ask a ZenZest budtender to show you the batch's certificate of analysis for specifics.
Is OG Kush a sativa or an indica?+
OG Kush is classified here as a sativa-leaning hybrid, meaning it carries genetics from both sides of the cannabis spectrum. Most consumers and cultivators describe its effect profile as balanced — more mentally engaging than a classic indica but without the sharp, racy quality sometimes associated with pure sativas. Individual responses vary, so approach any new cultivar thoughtfully.
Can I order this flower for same-day delivery in New York?+
Yes. ZenZest offers same-day delivery to more than 80 New York ZIP codes from our Queens-Long Island and Staten Island locations. Place your order through the site, confirm your ZIP is within our delivery zone, and a ZenZest courier will bring your order directly to your door, fully compliant with New York OCM adult-use regulations.
How should I store premium cannabis flower to keep it fresh?+
Store flower in an airtight, opaque container — ideally glass — at room temperature, away from direct light and humidity fluctuations. Relative humidity between 55 and 62 percent is generally considered optimal for preserving terpene integrity and preventing mold. Avoid refrigerators, which introduce condensation, and keep the container away from heat sources that can dry and degrade resin glands.
Is this product legal to purchase in New York?+
Yes. ZenZest is a New York OCM-licensed adult-use cannabis retailer. All products sold through our stores and delivery service are fully legal for adults aged 21 and over in New York State. A valid government-issued ID confirming your age is required at point of purchase or delivery. No medical card is needed for adult-use transactions.
