About this product
The Select BRIQ 2 Live Collection Permanent Marker is an indica-leaning vaporizer built for experienced and curious consumers alike. Derived from live cannabis material, the BRIQ 2 format delivers a full-spectrum vapor experience that honors the plant's natural terpene and cannabinoid profile, making it a considered choice for evening unwinding or deliberate relaxation.
What it is
The Select BRIQ 2 is a hardware-forward vaporizer system designed to work with live-collection oil — extract made from fresh-frozen cannabis rather than dried and cured flower. This process is intended to preserve a broader range of volatile terpenes and cannabinoids that can be lost during conventional curing, resulting in vapor that more closely reflects the character of the living plant. Permanent Marker is an indica-leaning strain known in cultivar circles for dense, pungent aromatics and a grounding, body-aware effect profile. Consumed via the BRIQ 2 pod device, the experience is draw-activated and largely portable, requiring no additional hardware beyond the compatible battery unit. The format suits both at-home sessions and discreet on-the-go use.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing a live-collection vaporizer from a New York OCM-licensed retailer like ZenZest means every unit in the display case has passed mandatory state testing for residual solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, and potency before it reached the shelf. Select is a nationally recognized brand operating under compliant production standards, and ZenZest's buying team vets each partnership to ensure provenance and consistency. Shoppers at either the Queens–Long Island or Staten Island flagship, or those ordering through same-day delivery, receive product that is sealed, labeled, and traceable — protections simply unavailable through unlicensed channels.
Pairings
Permanent Marker's indica character makes it a natural companion for low-tempo evenings. Consider pairing a session with a slow-burn playlist — think ambient electronic, classic soul, or late-night jazz — alongside something warm and savory: a bowl of ramen, a charcuterie spread, or dark chocolate. The format also pairs well with a broad-spectrum CBD tincture if you prefer to temper intensity, or with a water pipe for those who enjoy following a vape session with traditional flower.
If it's your first time
If this is your first time using a pod-based vaporizer or experimenting with live-collection oil, approach the experience with patience. The BRIQ 2 is draw-activated, so no buttons or settings are required — simply attach the pod to a compatible battery and inhale slowly. Indica formulations can produce pronounced physical relaxation. Start low, go slow: take one draw, wait ten to fifteen minutes to assess how you feel, and proceed from there. A comfortable, familiar setting is always recommended for a first session.
Frequently asked
What makes a 'live collection' vaporizer different from a standard oil cartridge?+
Live-collection oil is extracted from fresh-frozen cannabis harvested at peak ripeness, bypassing the drying and curing process. This approach is designed to retain a wider spectrum of naturally occurring terpenes and minor cannabinoids that can degrade during conventional processing. The result is typically a more complex aroma and a vapor profile that enthusiasts describe as closer to the living plant.
What hardware do I need to use the Select BRIQ 2?+
The BRIQ 2 pod is designed for use with a compatible BRIQ 2 battery, sold separately. The system is draw-activated, meaning there are no buttons to press or temperature settings to configure for basic use. ZenZest staff can confirm battery compatibility and availability at checkout, whether you are shopping in-store or placing a same-day delivery order.
Is Permanent Marker a good strain for beginners?+
Permanent Marker is an indica-leaning cultivar with a reputation for potent, full-bodied effects. While it is available to any adult 21 and over, consumers new to cannabis or to concentrated formats should exercise caution. Starting with a single, measured draw and allowing ample time before consuming more is the responsible approach. Experienced consumers tend to gravitate toward this strain for evening or nighttime use.
How do I know this product is safe and accurately labeled?+
All cannabis products sold at ZenZest have been tested by a New York OCM-accredited third-party laboratory and carry a state-compliant label that includes cannabinoid content, batch information, and test results. This chain of custody from licensed cultivator through licensed retailer ensures that what is printed on the package reflects what is inside — a standard that unlicensed products cannot guarantee.
