About this product
The Select BRIQ 2 Live Collection in Permanent Marker is a premium indica vaporizer built for those who prefer a convenient, draw-activated experience grounded in live cannabis extract. Expect the hallmark richness of a true live concentrate format — full-spectrum flavor, robust aroma, and the unhurried, settled feeling that seasoned indica consumers associate with evening wind-down.
What it is
The Select BRIQ 2 is an all-in-one, disposable vaporizer housing a live cannabis concentrate — meaning the oil is derived from freshly frozen plant material rather than dried and cured flower. This preservation method captures a broader terpene and cannabinoid profile than conventional extracts, translating into noticeably more expressive aroma and flavor on the inhale. Permanent Marker is a well-regarded indica-leaning cultivar celebrated in craft cannabis circles for its pungent, fuel-forward character with subtle floral undertones. No charging cables or cartridge compatibility questions are needed; the BRIQ 2 is draw-activated and self-contained, making it one of the more approachable formats for discreet, on-the-go consumption.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing this vaporizer through ZenZest means the product has cleared New York State Office of Cannabis Management licensing requirements, including mandatory third-party laboratory testing for potency, residual solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals. Every unit on our shelves arrives with a verifiable chain of custody from a licensed cultivator and processor. Shoppers at our Queens–Long Island and Staten Island locations — or those receiving same-day delivery across 80-plus New York ZIP codes — can review product documentation and speak with knowledgeable staff, something no unlicensed gray-market source can offer.
Pairings
Permanent Marker's earthy, resinous character pairs naturally with a late-evening ritual. Consider putting on a slow, bass-heavy playlist — think classic soul or ambient electronic — and pairing the session with something savory and grounding: aged cheese, charcuterie, or a warm bowl of ramen. If you prefer a beverage alongside, an herbal tea or a malty craft beer complements the cultivar's profile without competing. For a full-format evening, consider pairing this vaporizer with a CBD tincture for a more modulated experience.
If it's your first time
If this is your first time using a live-extract vaporizer or consuming indica cannabis, start low and go slow. Take a single, short draw and allow ten to fifteen minutes before assessing how you feel. All-in-one vaporizers deliver effects more quickly than edibles but can still vary based on individual tolerance. Find a comfortable, familiar setting for your first session, and avoid combining with alcohol or other substances until you understand how this format affects you personally.
Frequently asked
What makes the Select BRIQ 2 a 'live collection' vaporizer?+
Live collection refers to the use of freshly frozen cannabis biomass in the extraction process rather than dried and cured flower. Freezing the plant immediately after harvest preserves a wider range of volatile terpenes and minor cannabinoids, resulting in an oil that more closely reflects the aroma and character of the living plant. The finished concentrate is generally considered more flavorful and full-spectrum than standard distillate.
Is the Select BRIQ 2 rechargeable or truly disposable?+
The BRIQ 2 is designed as an all-in-one unit. While some all-in-one vaporizers include a micro-USB or USB-C port to extend battery life through the full oil capacity, you should confirm the specific charging configuration with a ZenZest staff member or product insert at the time of purchase. No separate battery device or 510-thread connection is required.
How does Permanent Marker as an indica strain typically present?+
Permanent Marker is known among cultivar enthusiasts for a bold, fuel-tinged aroma layered with floral and herbal notes — a profile consistent with its lineage in high-terpene breeding programs. As an indica-leaning variety, it is commonly associated with a relaxing, body-forward effect that many consumers find most suitable for evening or nighttime use. Individual experience varies based on tolerance and consumption habits.
Is this product lab tested and legally compliant in New York?+
Yes. ZenZest is a licensed adult-use retailer under the New York State Office of Cannabis Management, and every product we carry must pass OCM-mandated third-party laboratory testing before reaching our shelves. Testing covers cannabinoid potency, residual solvents, pesticides, microbials, and heavy metals. Certificates of analysis are associated with each production batch and can be discussed with our in-store team.
