About this product
The Select BRIQ 2 Legacy Series Tropic Thunder is a 1-gram hybrid vaporizer cartridge designed for smooth, consistent vapor delivery. Built on Select's established oil platform, it draws on the tropical-leaning Tropic Thunder cultivar and fits standard 510-thread batteries, making it a reliable choice for on-the-go adult-use cannabis sessions in New York.
What it is
The Select BRIQ 2 is a 510-thread oil cartridge containing one gram of cannabis-derived oil processed from the hybrid Tropic Thunder strain. The cartridge format vaporizes oil at lower temperatures than combustion, producing an inhalable vapor rather than smoke. Users attach the cartridge to any compatible 510-thread battery, draw at their preferred pace, and cap sessions whenever they choose — no grinding, rolling, or open flame required. The hybrid classification suggests a cultivar bred to balance energetic and relaxing characteristics, though individual experience varies by tolerance, setting, and consumption habits. Tropic Thunder is generally associated with bright, fruit-forward aromatic notes, which can carry through in the vapor profile of a well-processed oil.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing cannabis in New York through an OCM-licensed adult-use retailer like ZenZest means every product on the shelf has cleared the state's regulatory chain of custody. Select's BRIQ 2 cartridges arrive with documented lab testing for potency and residual solvents — information available on packaging and verifiable through New York's seed-to-sale tracking framework. Buying unlicensed vape products carries genuine health and legal risk; licensed retail eliminates that uncertainty. ZenZest's Queens–Long Island and Staten Island locations stock current inventory, and same-day delivery reaches more than 80 New York ZIP codes for shoppers who prefer to order from home.
Pairings
Tropic Thunder's fruit-forward character pairs naturally with light, citrus-driven foods — think mango sorbet, pineapple salsa, or a cold sparkling water with lime. For a listening session, genre-fluid playlists leaning toward reggae, afrobeat, or breezy indie pop complement the cultivar's bright aromatic profile. The cartridge format is also well-suited to low-key outdoor settings: a rooftop at dusk, a park afternoon, or a pre-concert warmup where discretion and portability matter.
If it's your first time
If this is your first time using a vape cartridge, attach it to a fully charged 510-thread battery and begin with a single short draw. Wait several minutes before taking another — oil cartridges can feel deceptively mild at first, and the effects of inhaled cannabis typically arrive within minutes but may deepen over fifteen to thirty minutes. Start low and go slow. Store the cartridge upright at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, to maintain oil consistency and coil longevity.
Frequently asked
What battery do I need for the Select BRIQ 2 Legacy Series cartridge?+
The BRIQ 2 uses a standard 510-thread connection, the most common format in the industry. Any 510-compatible variable-voltage battery will work. A low-to-medium voltage setting — typically around 2.4 to 3.0 volts — is generally recommended for oil cartridges to preserve vapor quality and avoid burning the coil.
Is Tropic Thunder indica, sativa, or hybrid?+
Tropic Thunder is classified as a hybrid, meaning it was bred from both indica- and sativa-leaning lineage. Hybrid classification signals a cultivar intended to offer a middle-ground experience, though effects depend on individual tolerance, the specific oil formulation, and consumption context rather than strain category alone.
How many puffs does a 1-gram cartridge typically provide?+
A one-gram cartridge generally yields somewhere between 150 and 300 draws depending on puff duration and battery temperature. Shorter, cooler draws tend to extend cartridge life and can produce a cleaner vapor. There is no universal standard, so treat early sessions as a calibration period for your own habits.
Is this product legal to purchase in New York, and how do I know it's safe?+
Yes. ZenZest is an OCM-licensed adult-use retailer, and the Select BRIQ 2 is a compliant product sold exclusively to adults 21 and older. Every licensed cannabis product in New York must pass state-mandated lab testing for potency, pesticides, and residual solvents before reaching retail shelves, providing a verifiable safety baseline absent from unlicensed market products.
Can I get this cartridge delivered the same day in New York?+
ZenZest offers same-day delivery across more than 80 New York ZIP codes from its Queens–Long Island and Staten Island locations. Place your order through the website, confirm your delivery ZIP is within the service area, and a licensed delivery agent will bring your order directly to your door in compliance with New York OCM delivery regulations.
