About this product
The Select BRIQ 2 Legacy Series Acapulco Gold 2g is a sativa vaporizer cartridge paying homage to one of cannabis culture's most celebrated landrace strains. Housed in Select's proprietary BRIQ 2 hardware, this 2-gram all-in-one delivers the bright, energizing character Acapulco Gold has been associated with for decades — a refined pick for daytime sessions.
What it is
A vaporizer in the BRIQ 2 format is a self-contained, battery-integrated device loaded with cannabis oil — no separate battery purchase required. The BRIQ 2 platform from Select uses a draw-activated mechanism, meaning inhalation alone triggers the heating element. Users simply inhale through the mouthpiece, allowing the device to aerosolize the oil without combustion. The sativa designation reflects the cultivar lineage; Acapulco Gold is a storied Mexican landrace long associated with uplifting, clear-headed qualities. At 2 grams of oil, this unit offers meaningful session volume compared to standard 0.5g or 1g formats, making it a practical choice for regular consumers who favor consistency across multiple uses.
Why this matters at ZenZest
Purchasing this vaporizer through ZenZest — a New York OCM-licensed adult-use retailer — means the product has passed the state's mandatory third-party lab-testing requirements for potency, residual solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals before it ever reaches the shelf. Unlicensed vape products circulating in New York carry no such guarantees. ZenZest sources exclusively from OCM-approved cultivators and manufacturers, and its staff can provide access to the Certificate of Analysis for any product on the menu. Same-day delivery to more than 80 New York ZIP codes means verified product reaches you without the uncertainty of unregulated sources.
Pairings
Acapulco Gold's sativa profile pairs naturally with activities that reward focus and gentle stimulation. Consider a midday walk through a New York park, a creative work session, or catching a live jazz or indie set. On the culinary side, bright, citrus-forward foods — fresh fruit, ceviche, or a well-made agave cocktail — tend to complement the strain's reported flavor notes. For those who enjoy layering formats, a small amount of a sativa flower alongside the vaporizer can extend and nuance the session.
If it's your first time
If this is your first time using a vaporizer or exploring sativa cannabis, start with one or two short draws and allow five to ten minutes before reassessing how you feel. The BRIQ 2 is draw-activated, so there are no settings to navigate — simply inhale slowly and steadily. Sativa-leaning products can feel more mentally stimulating than indica options; choose a comfortable, familiar environment for your first session. Start low, go slow.
Frequently asked
What makes the Select BRIQ 2 different from a standard cartridge?+
The BRIQ 2 is an all-in-one device — the battery is built directly into the unit, so no separate 510-thread battery is needed. This makes it more portable and eliminates compatibility concerns. The 2-gram oil capacity is also larger than most standard cartridges, offering more sessions before the device is spent.
Is Acapulco Gold a good strain for daytime use?+
Acapulco Gold is a landrace sativa historically associated with energizing, uplifting effects, which is why many consumers favor it for daytime or creative activities. Individual responses to cannabis vary, so new users should begin with small amounts to understand their personal tolerance before committing to a fuller session.
How do I know the oil in this vaporizer is safe?+
Because ZenZest is an OCM-licensed New York adult-use retailer, every vaporizer it sells must meet New York State's mandatory testing standards — covering potency accuracy, residual solvents, pesticides, and heavy metals. You can request the product's Certificate of Analysis from ZenZest staff to review independent lab results before purchasing.
Can I get this delivered to my New York address?+
ZenZest offers same-day delivery to more than 80 New York ZIP codes. Delivery is available to adults 21 and older with valid government-issued ID verification at the door. Check the ZenZest website or contact the store directly to confirm your ZIP code is within the current delivery zone.
How should I store the BRIQ 2 vaporizer when not in use?+
Store the device upright at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat or cold. Heat can thin the oil and cause leakage, while cold temperatures may temporarily thicken it and affect draw quality. Keep it out of reach of anyone under 21, and do not pack it in checked luggage when traveling by air.
